Being a hypebeast is a lifestyle in this day and age, hypebeasts show off everything from tennis balls and coffee cups, to door mats and suitcases. We do not however see many hypebeasts showing off Hyper cars and there is a good reason for this. Imagine a super car but a super version of that car, then, you are at Hyper car. The reason you probably don’t see your favorite Instagram hypebeast showing one of these off is because they are ridiculously expensive. Apollo have recently launched their new hyper car- the Apollo IE, which stands for Intense Emotion, and is retailing at a cool $2.8 million.

This car started as a blank piece of paper. The Apollo team said ” From the beginning, our team set out to build a car that is lightweight, aerodynamically efficient and connected, but unimpeded by any emotionally dilutive technological systems”. They also said that they put their heart and soul into building this crazy car, and it certainly shows. The titanium exhaust tips, yes the tips alone cost the same as a BMW M4.

Some of the other features of this car include;

  • 6.3 litre V12 engine producing 780hp and 760nM of torque
  • Top speed of 336 Kph
  • 0-100 in 2.7 secconds
  • Three different modes; Wet, Sport and Track
  • 6 speed gearbox with paddle shifters
  • All carbon fiber chassis- total weight of 105kg
  • Carbon fibre front crash structure- the same as a formula one car
  • Bembro carbon ceramic system witha 6 piston clipper in the front and a 4 piston clipper in the rear
  • Formula one double wishbone style suspension

Apollo is only going to be making 10 of these cars. They have said that each one can be fully customized to the owners specifications, as you would expect if you were paying $2.8 million. If you are lucky enough to be able to buy one of these then you will also be given priority rights to purchase the Apollos next project- The Arrow, set to launch in 2019.
